Ancient Wisdom Marjoram Spanish Essential Oil is steam distilled from the Thymus Mastichina plant, the entire plant exudes a strong aroma. It is wild growing thyme belonging to the Lamiaceae family of Spain, and known as Spanish Wild Marjoram (not to be confused with Sweet or French Marjoram).

Marjoram Spanish Essential Oil

Spanish wild marjoram is known to have been used by herbalists since ancient Greece. Ancient Greeks and Romans crowned bridal couples with wreaths of marjoram to symbolize love, honour and happiness.

Uses

In aromatherapy Spanish Marjoram oil blends well with Lavender and Bergamot oils to create a relaxing environment.

A few drops in an oil burner or blended in a massage oil, Spanish Marjoram is said to calm the nerves, and fight loneliness and rejection.
